My Dream

The Best Garden Hose

If you’re looking for the easiest and cheapest way to keep your garden lush, your car clean, and your sprinkler a-sprinkling—or you just need an elongated water source to let your kids play with on a hot summer day—then the lightweight Flexzilla Garden Hose is your best bet. It’s safe, durable, and far more flexible than any other hose we tested.

Our pick

Flexzilla Garden Hose

Flexzilla Garden Hose

The best garden hose

This tough, flexible hose was the most kink-resistant hose we tested, and its lightweight material will coil up, lie flat, and twist and turn easily. It’s durable, but it can show dirt if you don’t store it well.
*At the time of publishing, the price was $33.
Don’t be fooled by the Flexzilla’s ectoplasmic coloring—its hose and fittings are both made from the same proprietary materials that the company uses for its other industrial-grade offerings. This slinky hose is nearly impossible to kink or break, it lies flat when you unroll it (the material has no “memory” of its coiled state), and its light weight and flexibility make it easy and comfortable to coil up at the end of the day. One drawback is its potential to show dirt or develop moldy patches, but that’s an issue you can control by storing it under shelter.
